ILIA Lipstick in Madam Mina + a huge giveaway!

Taking inspiration from Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula, ILIA's three limited-edition Fall/Winter lipsticks represent the vamp, the moody ingenue, and something ambiguously in-between. The first run sold out shortly, but fortunately, they've made more and I was able to score a tube of Madam Mina (the more ambiguous in-between shade). A grayed down mauve with a creamy, semi-matte finish, it's a grownup lipstick that's deep without going dark. (And not a lipstick you'd want to layer with gloss.) The gray tones make for a particularly modern take on the classic mauve lipstick.

Plus, Ilia has additional good news:

Ilia Beauty Silken Shadow Stick and Pure Eyeliner

The big question with any cream eyeshadow made with clean ingredients is whether or not it'll crease. And yes, this one is not crease-proof, but you'll have much better luck with it if you have drier eyelids, live in an arid climate, don't wear dark eyeliner, layer it with some form of powder and/or stick with the more nude shades.

That said, both these eye products are fantastic to travel with, as they housed in extremely lightweight packaging and no brushes are needed for applying. Ilia Beauty has always satiated my desire for intriguing shades–a void left when I discovered what ingredients were lurking in my beloved NARS products. And the shade selection here certainly doesn't disappoint. The Silken Shadow Sticks come in 6 compelling neutrals (notably including Age Of Consent, And She Was, and End of Days, the latter of is pictured above), and the Pure Eyeliners swivel up to expose a perfectly narrow tip for lining the inner rim, or drawing a cat eye with precision.
