The best gel eyeliner ever.

Making the decision to go clean when it comes to self care products wasn't that hard, with the exception of long-lasting eyeliners and eyeshadows. I still stop by the Bobbi Brown counter to longingly gaze at her little pots of gel liner and reminisce over the days of never having to touch up my eye makeup.

That is, until last week, when I tried the black gel eye liner from Evelyn Iona, a socially and environmentally conscious Canadian indie line that's on a mission to empower women. Super easy to apply with either an angled or pointed brush, it's immensely gratifying to use. It's not shimmery at all, nor glossy, so it's perfect for daytime cat eye. Plus, this pot is a versatile product; you could blend it out into a matte charcoal haze, but it will otherwise stay put.

Castor seed, coconut, and jojoba oils are the primary ingredients, making this gentle formula glide on smoothly. I often itch from eye liners (even clean ones!) and miracle of miracles, this did not happen once. Plus, one has the satisfaction of knowing that this antioxidant-rich and moisturizing eye liner is also nourishing their lash line.

This glass pot of obsidian-black gel liner is the dream of any cat eye fan—or for that matter, anyone who's ever seen their eyeliner migrate north to their creases by lunch.  [Update! Use code 'onpoint' for 20% off this liner at www.evelyniona.com.]
